Niall and his family have had a Donor Advised Fund since 2011. It makes a small grant most years for environmental projects in Ireland.
He was one of the founding committee members of Fundraising Ireland in 2006 that has evolved today to become Charities Institute Ireland. You can read more here about the CII history.

He has worked for among others, The Community Foundation for Ireland and The Trinity Foundation (TCD), and has consulted to many of the leading charities, universities, cultural and health organisations in a range of sectors over two decades.
Niall worked for an American fundraising consulting firm and undertook feasibility study and fundraising projects for clients in the USA, England and Ireland. These were a mix of university, church and school organisations.
